1^st Annual Carl Couzens Memorial Golf Day

You are invited to join us for a round of golf and a meal in memory of Carl, who was taken from us so suddenly. We hope to make this an annual event so let’s make the first one a day to remember. 

Carl was a member at Beadlow Manor G.C. and they have offered us favourable terms for the day in order to maximise the amount of money we raise for the hospital trust that looked after him so well over a number of years.

The day will start with tea/coffee and snack on arrival, 18 holes of golf (Stapleford, full handicap) with a three-course dinner to follow that will be served at 7pm in the clubhouse. Smart casual dress for dinner please.

Please respond by printing this email, returning the tear off slip below, enclosing your payment in full in order that we can plan to welcome as many of Carl’s friends and colleagues as possible to swing a club and raise a glass in his memory.

If you require a buggy you can reserve one directly with the club on 01525 860666. Please indicate if you wish to play in a specific group otherwise we will make up groups as entries come in.

Non-golfers are welcome to join us for the afternoon and/or the meal too. Come along and caddy or just walk round with a group and share memories of our mate as you enjoy what will, hopefully, be a sunny afternoon in pleasant Bedfordshire surroundings where Carl spent much of his own free time.
