FAREWELL BUT NOT GOODBYE
End of an era for two
of our members
This season sees the end
of an era, with two of our long serving members retiring (well...
sort of).
HANGING-UP his boots at the end of
this season is Paul Swannell. Paul has served this League man
and boy and even remembers detachable white collars and cuffs. Well
done Paul on way over 30 years of service and no doubt has many
memories of his refereeing experiences. Paul will be continuing with
Tony's band of Assessors, so watch out next season.
STILL BLOWING his whistle next
season will be Liam Walshe, joining the ranks of ‘The Class
Fives’ after many years on the system. No doubt the Premier Clubs
will miss him (???) but it’s good to have him on our side.
Both will still be around and we
wish them all the best in their new roles.
