2009 League Fitness Tests

Level 5 Referees wishing to be considered for Spartan South Midlands Division One middles next season must complete one of the SSMFL fitness test which will be held on the following dates:

Referees of all levels are welcome to take the test.

NO TESTS WILL BE HELD OUTSIDE THESE FOUR DATES.

All four tests will be held at Stockwood Park Athletic Track, Farley Hill, Luton, Bedfordshire commencing at 10AM. Please remember for those referees who took their County FA test you will still need to take the Leagues test. To re-confirm, County fitness tests will not be taken into consideration.

The test will compromise of a 12 minute continuous run where a minimum of 2,400 metres must be completed in order to pass. Following the run there will be a 15 minute rest period. After this you will need to sprint 50 metres in 7.5 seconds followed immediately by a second 50 metre sprint once again in 7.5 seconds or under.
