ABOUT THE ASSMFLMO

The Association of Spartan South Midlands Football League Match Officials was founded in 1986 to promote the interests and welfare of referees officiating on one of the finest Feeder Leagues in the country. In common with the R.A., it actively supports “service before self” and provides a voice for over 200 match officials drawn from nine counties and geographical divisions. The Association believes that every member from the most experienced to the newest trainee should have an equal say in the running of its affairs, enjoys a sound relationship with officers of the League, and encourages its members to raise any issues or concerns. In addition, it calls regular meetings with keynote speakers, runs an active website, sells League ties and badges, and awards trophies to clubs whose sportsmanship and hospitality make refereeing a more satisfying experience.
