Many of you will be saddened to learn of the sad and untimely death of Ron Kibble.

As many of you will know, particularly those of us affiliated to Hertfordshire, Ron served for many years as the Referees Secretary at Herts FA and was a great friend to many of us. He was very proud of `His Boys` and gave every encouragement to the Referees under his wing, and was delighted with the progress that some of us were fortunate to make.

Ron moved on to higher office (details of which are published on the Herts FA web site) where he served with diligence, panache and an unfailing charm.

Our sincere condolences to Rons' family. He will be sadly missed.
